Food has a big impact on our mental and physical health. If you are sensitive to certain foods without knowing it, they can impact your body in negative ways. I went to a Naturapathic doctor and she had me take food sensitivity tests. I found out that I was sensitive to a lot of foods, but that almonds and dairy affected me the most. Almonds have been found to contribute to anxiety, which I have experienced. Dairy also messes with my digestion and affects my voice and sinuses. I tend to get very congested if I eat a lot of cheese or ice cream. I was already drinking alternative milks before the test, but now I am more aware of what I eat or drink.
